Private pay sessions
The fee for a session is $175.
I can file out-of-network claims for you. Depending on your out-of-network benefits, your insurance may then reimburse you.
Some patients prefer privacy, in which case insurance is never notified.
Insurance
I am in-network with UnitedHealth Care. This includes UHC, UMR, and Optum. I am not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.
When using insurance, what you pay for sessions depends on your policy. Typically the cost of each session is the cost of your specialist co-pay. In some cases you need to meet your deductible before the plan supplements costs.

Since January 3, 2023, following the passage of the No Surprises Act, Patients seeking medical care are legally entitled to request a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the cost of treatment.
To give a rough estimate, if you are not using insurance and come to weekly sessions, the cost of six months of therapy would be about $4,200. For six months of twice-a-week therapy, the cost would be approximately $8,400.
If you are using insurance, the cost of treatment will depend upon your insurance coverage.
I am happy to provide a GFE tailored to you after completing an assessment, at which point I am able to make an informed treatment recommendation.
